What do you get when you cross a talented performer with Charles Perrault's classic fairy tale? You get one of my favorite Christopher Walken movies ever! This little-known 1988 Israeli release; Cannon Movie Tales - Puss In Boots is a true gem! When I first got my "paws" on a copy, I already knew Mr. Walken could sing and dance. I had seen his spectacular performance as Tom, the pimp in Pennies From Heaven, but that had just made me want to see more! This movie is very difficult to find as it is out of print, but I had finally acquired a bootleg copy from another fan. Of course, I enjoyed this performance so much, I had to own a real copy and I finally found one on auction at www.ebay.com I am so thrilled to have this rare treasure in my collection! My only wish now is that they would release the soundtrack! If you are lucky enough to see this, be sure to watch for Mr. Walken's cartwheel about halfway through the movie!
